Latymer Community Church

Follow Jesus, love all people and make disciples in Ladbroke Grove

Church

Latymer Community Church is a local church for local people. We are a small, informal and friendly church, and you are very welcome to join us, wherever you are on your faith journey. We meet together every Sunday at 11.00am.

Our vision is to follow Jesus, love people and make disciples in Ladbroke Grove and our values are to be biblical, prayerful, evangelistic, experimental and generous. We live this out in a number of ways. Making disciples is really important to us so we are excited by our Discipleship Night on Thursday evenings at 7pm where we enjoy a tasty meal together and learn more about God through studying the Bible. There are daytime Bible study groups. We have a variety of prayer opportunities, Tuesday mornings for those who are working, midday on Zoom on Wednesday and Fridays and at 10.30am before our church service on a Sunday morning. We also have a worship night on the first Friday of the month at 7.30pm. On the last Sunday of the month, we have special services where we invite our community to join us and we have a specific theme followed by enjoying lunch together.

Our church is led by a leadership team, headed up by Steve and Tanya Bownds and supported by Mary White.

We are very active in our local community and have strong links with other churches and charities nearby. Latymer has worked in the North Kensington area for over 160 years and was originally a Shaftesbury Society Mission. Latymer is a member of the Pioneer group of churches and have a close relationship with  Bless Community Church, another Pioneer church in West London. Our youth work is in partnership with the Eden NetworkLinks are maintained with Livability (the successor of the Shaftesbury Society). We also maintain links with other local churches, particularly through active participation in the Together for God group of churches that operates in North Kensington and North Westminster.

Come and join us at Latymer Community Church on Sundays at 11.00am.
